Roles and tasks of Grand Duke Friedrich Maik in the territory

Grand Duke Friedrich Maik is the head of the Grand Duchy of Mecklenburg-Strelitz, the Grand Duchy of Mecklenburg-Schwerin and the Duchy of Pomerania. He is regent of the Kingdom of Prussia.

Together with the people, he is vested with official authority in accordance with the provisions of the Grand Ducal Constitution of the Grand Duchy of Mecklenburg-Strelitz and the other laws.

Although Grand Duke Friedrich Maik and the people have their own separate rights and duties, many tasks can only be performed together. For example, a draft law must be approved by both the Grand Duke Friedrich Maik and the people.

The consent of the people is given either indirectly through parliament or directly in a referendum.

The following rights and duties of the Head of the Grand Duchy and Duchies are enshrined in the Grand Ducal Constitution of the Grand Duchy of Mecklenburg-Strelitz.

Rights and duties of Grand Duke Friedrich Maik

1. Immunity
Grand Duke Friedrich Maik may suspend the immunity of individuals in the event of offences against the Grand Duchies of Mecklenburg-Strelitz, Mecklenburg-Schwerin and the Duchy of Pomerania.

Grand Duke Friedrich Maik is not subject to the jurisdiction of the courts and no court action can be brought against him.
The same applies to the member of the Grand Ducal House who represents the Grand Duke as Head and carries out duties on his behalf.

2. Foreign affairs

Grand Duke Friedrich Maik fulfils this task without prejudice and with the necessary involvement of the responsible government. He either signs territorial agreements himself or delegates an authorised representative. Some international treaties require parliamentary approval in order to be valid.
Any parliamentary resolution concerning the approval of a territorial treaty is subject to a referendum if the parliament decides to hold such a referendum or if at least 10% of the electorate or at least 5 regional heads of government submit such a request. Grand Duke Friedrich Maik plays a particularly active role in foreign relations that extends far beyond general representational duties.

3. Participation in all legislation
Grand Duke Friedrich Maik is actively involved in the legislative process. He has the executive powers and the right to impose sanctions.

4. Issuance of all ordinances

5. Establish courts and appoint judges

The judges are selected by a committee appointed by Parliament.

8. Presidency of the government

Parliamentary monarchy in Mecklenburg

The parliamentary monarchy in Mecklenburg consists of 7 ministers, who sit in parliament in Schwerin, and 38 regional governors, who are elected by the people.

The regional councillors are elected every 4 years so that people have the opportunity to help decide who represents them and their concerns in parliament.
The tasks entrusted to the 38 regional councillors are to look after their respective areas, to respond to the concerns of the people and to ensure that the people in the respective areas can organise their lives together peacefully and restore personal sovereignty.

Suggestions and requests from people in the respective areas are recorded and passed on to the ministers. They are used to create laws and regulations on the basis of peace and sovereignty with the aim of achieving healthy human development.

Grand Duke Friedrich Maik receives the draft laws from the ministers and signs them. His task is to ensure that the principles of justice and humanity are reflected in the laws and that the laws are enacted on behalf of the people in his area. Grand Duke Friedrich Maik also has the right to veto all laws that are passed. If necessary, laws submitted to him must be renegotiated. Law and justice are thus determined with and by the people.

What do we know so far and what will change as a result of the transition?

Over the years, we have grown up with – and been shaped by – the prevailing system.
It has become almost normal for us to have an 85% tax burden. We have spent our entire lives working to survive on a fraction of our hard-earned money.

Some of us even managed to go on holiday once or twice a year with the money we had painstakingly saved. We were forced to take out loans to afford other things we were unable to afford.

Even things that should actually belong in every household – including a car for mobility, a television to follow what is happening around the world and stay informed and a roof over our heads to enjoy a sense of security – were sometimes only possible with borrowed FIAT money. And once we have fallen into this debt trap, it is very difficult to escape. The banks were only too happy to give us new loans to pay off older loans, which allowed them to keep us permanently trapped in this vicious cycle.

Year after year, this system took more and more money out of our pockets, making the noose around our necks tighter and tighter. Many of us have been forced to take on a part-time job in order to make ends meet in an increasingly difficult financial situation.

Families that used to have time for themselves and their children were transformed into mere groupings in which everyone had to fight for survival. Their own needs were often disregarded and put on the back burner.

We know what happens to us when we disregard our most basic needs year after year, when we stuff our bodies with fillers instead of nutritious food, when we spend our energy scraping together money to make our children's eyes light up.

We know what is happening to us, and for years we have witnessed people getting sicker and sicker. The toxins in the air and soil have made our bodies even sicker, leaving us increasingly at the mercy of the perfidious system of health funds and insurance companies.

A vicious circle that has kept us trapped in our hamster wheel without ever giving us the chance to escape.

But all these things are now confined to the past.

Yet another important stage on this journey will be reached on 27 June 2024. The law passed by the Federal Republic of Germany on the introduction of dual nationality has now paved the way for the Grand Duchy. On this day, all people who wish to do so can obtain territorial affiliation to the Grand Duchy.

The aim of Grand Duke Friedrich Maik remains to work with us to turn all the aforementioned problems on their head.

Allowing families be families again
Quality of life instead of just work
Pleasure instead of worries
Health and well-being instead of illness and suffering
Education and life-affirming knowledge transfer
Healthy and nutritious agriculture and much more.

The list could go on and on.

Where does the funding come from to build the country?

We do need financial resources in order to build all of this. Collateral belonging to the people has been plundered. We cannot fall back on that. Grand Duke Friedrich Maik is aware of this fact and has known it full well since he decided to accept his legacy.

It was revealed to him in 2018 that an inheritance of £1.3 trillion was waiting for him. He was asked in 2018 what he would like to do with this legacy. There were only two options to choose from.
He could take the money and make a good life for himself and his family, a life of luxury and carefree generational prosperity.

... or ...

Grand Duke Friedrich Maik could take the 1.3 trillion pounds and make it available to the people of Mecklenburg.

1.3 trillion pounds – enough to give a new life to 1.6 million people or just one to Grand Duke Friedrich Maik himself

He reached a decision and made his entire private inheritance of 1.3 trillion available to the people of the Grand Duchies of Mecklenburg-Strelitz, Mecklenburg-Schwerin and the Duchy of Pomerania. His aim is to use this money to provide for all the people in his territory and to rebuild the duchies.

The private fortune of Grand Duke Friedrich Maik alone will enable all Mecklenburgers to embark on a completely new life in liberty.
He will not draw on the fortune himself, and will instead make it entirely available to the people to build up the Grand Ducal territories. Grand Duke Friedrich Maik transferred all of his private assets to the reorganisation of the territories.

How do I become a citizen of one of the Grand Duchies of Mecklenburg-Strelitz, Mecklenburg-Schwerin or the Duchy of Pomerania?

Proof of descent is required to become a citizen of Mecklenburg.

The closing date for this is 21 July 1913. Proof of descent from German territories must be provided retroactively up to this closing date. This means that the parents or grandparents must come from the German territories. It is irrelevant whether proof of this descent is provided via the maternal/female or paternal/male line.

One of the following documents is sufficient to provide proof of descent:

Extract from the birth register
Extract from birth announcements
Copy of the birth certificate
Copy of the marriage certificate
Copy of the divorce certificate
Copy of the death certificate

Once this proof has been submitted, anyone wishing to enter Mecklenburg and register their main residence in the area is welcome to do so.
